MERRILL, Wis. – Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer)¹ has named four new officers and promoted one, reinforcing the company’s commitment to serving purpose-driven organizations with strong leadership and deep industry expertise.
Andy Bloechl has been promoted to vice president – analytics and business transformation, a new role focused on advancing data access and literacy across the organization. He’ll also lead strategic planning and customer experience efforts. Bloechl brings more than 20 years of insurance experience, with a focus on operations. He joined Church Mutual in 2016 and most recently served as assistant vice president – administration.
Edward “Ted” Ewing joins Church Mutual as senior vice president – chief claim officer, overseeing the entire Claims organization for Church Mutual and its subsidiaries. He previously served as chief claim officer for Berkley Human Services and has held leadership roles at CNA and Zurich North America.
Carolyn Schamberger has been named assistant vice president – corporate communications and will lead the company’s public relations and communications strategy. She brings significant insurance and communications experience, including media relations, crisis response, community engagement and internal communications.
Sarah Veader joins as assistant vice president – risk control, where she’ll lead efforts to help customers prevent losses and operate more safely and efficiently. Her background includes risk control, operational improvement and customer experience.
Neil Ziegler has been named vice president – religious markets underwriting. He brings more than 20 years of underwriting and leadership experience, with a focus on strategy, distribution channels and business growth.
