Setting up your CM Sensor equipment is quick and easy.
ACTIVATE YOUR SYSTEM
All you need is a mobile phone or cellphone number to activate your CM Sensor kit.
The water/temperature sensors included in your CM Sensor kit, provided by Church Mutual and Roost, are designed to alert your designated contact(s) to three distinct conditions that could lead to frozen pipes:
The temperature outside is at or below 32°F AND the temperature in your property is 50°F. A text alert will be sent to your designated primary contact’s mobile phone. You do not need to respond to this alert.
The temperature outside is at or below 32°F AND your CM Sensor kit detects temperatures in your property at or below 40°F. A text alert will be sent to all emergency contacts listed in CM Sensor app. Please respond to this text alert. If no one responds to this text message, the alert will be escalated and you will receive a phone call.
NOTE: These notifications will be sent when freezing conditions occur at your property, including during evening hours. We recommend adjusting your property temperatures accordingly.
