Workers’ Compensation Payroll Audit

Attention Workers’ Compensation policyholders; it’s important that you keep distinct and separate records for changes occurring at your place of business due to COVID-19. Please note the items below that require distinct and separate recordkeeping (further noting, the list below may not be an all-inclusive list):

  1. For those employees who are working from home, please keep separate time card records for the time frame in which they are working from home vs. their time spent at your facility.

  2. For those employees that are still working onsite (at your normal place of business), but their job duties have changed to an entirely different job, please keep separate records of this.

  3. For those employees who are not working but still receiving pay, please keep separate records for this pay.

You may be wondering how COVID-19 has impacted workers’ compensation related information, including payroll and record keeping. Please read our FAQs for information to help you through these questions. This is not an all-inclusive list and may be subject to change.
