Church Mutual Insurance Company

Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer)

Effective January 1, 2020, Church Mutual Insurance Company ("Church Mutual") reorganized under Wisconsin law from a mutual insurance company to a stock insurance company within a mutual holding company system. Through the restructuring, all of Church Mutual's stock was issued to and is owned by Church Mutual Holding Company, Inc. (CMHC). All policyholders of Church Mutual automatically became members of CMHC and all future Church Mutual policyholders will also automatically become members of CMHC.

As a result of the restructuring, Church Mutual updated its name to Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer) and also updated its policies to reflect the change from a mutual insurer to a stock insurer within a mutual holding company system. The board members of Church Mutual are also board members of the CMHC.

Under the new mutual holding company structure, as a policyholder of Church Mutual, you will become a member of CMHC and you will be entitled to vote, either in person or by proxy, on each issue that comes before meetings of the members. You will be able to cast only one vote regardless of the number of policies you purchase.

More information on the Annual Meeting of the Members will be sent closer to each Annual Meeting of the Members.
