Church Mutual expands leadership team at CM Regent
(Merrill, Wis.) -- Robert (Bob) White joined Church Mutual Insurance Company as vice president, chief underwriting officer and chief operating officer for its CM Regent Insurance Company subsidiary, on June 26. CM Regent, a wholly owned subsidiary of Church Mutual, is located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. White will work out of the Pennsylvania office and report to Roy Jacobs, president of CM Regent.
Most recently, White served as vice president of nonprofit and education market segments for GuideOne Mutual Insurance Company in Des Moines, Iowa. Prior to that position, White worked as president and board member of First Nonprofit Insurance Company in Chicago. He also held senior leadership roles at several companies including Alliance Mutual Insurance Company, North Carolina Association of Mutual Insurance Companies and Cotton States Mutual Insurance Company.
“Bob’s depth of experience will be an incredible asset to CM Regent as we continue to expand our business in the school and nonprofit markets,” said Rich Poirier, president and CEO of Church Mutual. “Since acquiring CM Regent more than a year ago, we have forged an even stronger relationship with the schools across Pennsylvania. A graduate of the University of Georgia, White holds a bachelor’s degree in risk management/insurance. In addition, he holds a number of designations and certifications, including Certified Insurance Counselor, Associate in Risk Management, Accredited Advisor in Insurance and Associate in Reinsurance. He is also a licensed insurance agent.
