Scott Steele joined Church Mutual in 2015 in the newly created role of director of digital marketing and was responsible for developing and executing an integrated, long-term strategy for the company. In January 2018, he was promoted to vice president – chief marketing officer, where he continues the digital transformation that will strengthen Church Mutual’s niche market leadership and allow the company to compete aggressively in compatible markets.

Steele is a founding member of the Church Mutual African American Pastors Advisory Group, a mentor for the Church Mutual Women’s Leadership Initiative, a student coach for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point School of Business & Economics, leads talent attraction marketing efforts for Centergy – Central WI Alliance for Economic Development and has been a featured speaker and contributor for multiple regional and national organizations, including Reuters, Insurance Information Institute, Millennium Alliance and Toward One Wisconsin.

Prior to joining Church Mutual, he led his own marketing communications company in Chicago for 29 years. He has worked with many blue-chip clients throughout his career including The Federal Reserve Banks, Commonwealth Edison and Allstate Life Insurance. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Western Michigan University and an associate degree in visual communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
