Guy Russ joined Church Mutual in August 2012 as director — OCNS program management in Administration. He was promoted to senior information technology executive manager — architecture and administration in February 2014. In January 2016, he was promoted to assistant vice president — Information Technology. He assumed the role of assistant vice president – Risk Control in May 2018 and his current role in January 2022.
Russ earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from Carroll College (now Carroll University) in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and a master's in business administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee.
Russ earned the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in March 2018 and the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation in December 2018.
Russ was elected as chairman of the board of directors for Northland Lutheran High School in October 2018.
Russ attends Saint Peter Lutheran Church (WELS) in Schofield, Wisconsin.
