Hurricane Preparedness Guide

Seven of the 10 most expensive hurricanes in the history of the United States occurred in a 14-month period between August 2004 and October 2005.

Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne in 2004 and Katrina, Rita, and Wilma in 2005 accounted for an estimated $80 billion in damages according to the Insurance Information Institute.

The ensuing three years of relative calm should not dissuade residents of coastal states from maintaining their vigilance.

That is why Church Mutual has come out with the Hurricane Preparedness Guide as the initial brochure in The Safeguard Series.

It includes steps to take before, during, and after a hurricane.

It could save your possessions and even your life.

It’s important to review this information on a regular basis to make sure you have identified your potential hurricane risk for the appropriate insurance coverage, as well as learn the action steps needed to both prepare and recover from a disaster.

Water Activities Safety Guide

The second installment of Church Mutual's Safeguard Series, this 14-page Water Activities Safety Guide, helps keep your congregation, camp, or school children safe while enjoying fun in pools, lakes, and rivers. It includes:

  • A handy, two-page checklist as you walk around your facility, making it easier to spot inherent dangers.
  • Information about our popular Swimmer Safety Program--a wristband system you can use to immediately spot the ability levels of all participants.
While swimming is the main focus of the guide, boating, paddling, sailing and waterskiing are also addressed.
