A Message to ACSI Members




Dear ACSI School Administrator:

In this day and age it has become all the more important to make sure we have protected our institutions and those who work in them in all areas of potential vulnerability and liability. To take a mind-set of "those things will not happen to us" or "we cannot afford the premiums for the coverage" will put institutions and employees at great risk.

All it takes is one accident on school grounds without the proper coverage in place to literally put the school out of business. This is not stated merely for the sake of instilling “shock and fear,” but as the harsh reality of the world we live in today. We must demonstrate responsibility and good stewardship by providing insurance to cover against such incidents. The issue of Property and Casualty Insurance is an area that we cannot afford to neglect.

ACSI has had a long-standing relationship with Church Mutual as a provider of Property and Casualty Insurance for member schools. I urge you to be sure that you have this kind of coverage in place, and encourage you to visit with the representatives at Church Mutual as to how they might assist you with the appropriate plan for your school.
