Multi-Peril Coverages - Series A

Property Coverages

Our multi-peril policy protects your owned buildings and personal property against either Basic, Broad, or Special causes of loss. You select the coverage based on your budget and exposures.

Basic Covered Causes of Loss

Includes fire, lightning, explosion, windstorm, hail, smoke, aircraft, vehicles, riot, civil commotion, vandalism (except broken glass), sprinkler leakage, sinkhole collapse, volcanic action, damage by burglars, and sonic boom.

Broad Covered Causes of Loss

Includes all Basic causes of loss plus: glass broken by vandals; falling objects; weight of snow, ice, or sleet; water damage (not flood); and collapse due to specified causes. Glass breakage may be covered in full (less your deductible) or for $250 per pane, $1,000 per building.

Special Covered Causes of Loss

Includes all Basic and Broad causes of loss, plus any other cause that is not specifically excluded or limited. Examples of Special causes of loss include: accidental breakage (except for glassware, marble, china, and porcelain), spills, stains, scratching, or marring; roof damage due to freezing and resulting water damage; and backed-up water (not flood) from sewers and drains.

Some causes not covered include: earth movement (except sinkhole collapse), nuclear hazards, government action, power failure, war, flood, mudslides and seepage, industrial smoke, and normal wear and tear.

Systems and Equipment Breakdown Coverage
