Church Mutual has held an "A+ (Superior)" rating from A.M. Best Company every year since 1952.

Only 6 percent of the commercial lines property and casualty insurance companies rated by Best received the Superior rating.

This rating reflects A.M. Best's opinion of Church Mutual's financial strength and ability to meet obligations to policyholders. Best cited Church Mutual's dominant presence in the religious market, superior level of capitalization and focused operating strategies as reasons for the high rating.

The rating is assigned after an extensive quantitative and qualitative evaluation of Church Mutual's financial condition and operating performance.

Of the three leading church specialty companies in the United States, only Church Mutual is rated "A+."
